I have a rest this morning and have nothing to do. My car has not cleaned the throttle for more than 20,000 kilometers. Today, I plan to do it myself, prepare tools, and replace the air filter element and air conditioner filter element

A Phillips screwdriver, size 8 and size 10 sleeves

It has been more than 6 years old, and the engine compartment is still clean and not particularly dirty.

The air filter element that was replaced last time is 12,000 kilometers old. I took it out and compared it. It was really dirty. I just wanted to replace it this time.

Remove them one by one, and the air filter box exposes the ventilation duct

Remove the ventilation duct and expose the throttle body

I visually checked the outside of the throttle and found that there was still carbon deposition

It’s still pretty dirty

It’s a little dirty.

A lot of dirty water continues to wait for the carbon deposits to decompose

After cleaning, wipe it clean with a dry cloth, and spray W40 on the shaft

Some parts of the air conditioner are relatively not particularly dirty, so they can also be replaced. Removing the air conditioner filter element is relatively much easier. After the co-driver’s glove box is removed, you can replace it by opening the cover. It will be completed in 5 minutes.
