Notes on new tire leakage and tire repair
The new tires I replaced in early July were normal after traveling to Xizang and Xinjiang. Half a month after returning home, the “insufficient tire pressure” light on the instrument panel came on. Since the alarm on the V97 could not clearly indicate which tire it was, we had to use our own car charger to inflate the tire one by one. Fortunately, I charged the left front first, and when I clamped it on, it showed that the air pressure was normal; then after charging the left, the tire pressure was displayed at 1.96. After charging it to 2.6, the warning light on the instrument went out. Three days later, the warning light came on again, so the left rear wheel was inflated again and the light went out. Because I visually inspected the rear wheel several times that there were no spikes, I asked Brother 4S on WeChat. Brother 4S said that if there were no staples, there might be trachoma or a little leakage from the valve core. After the second inflation, the warning light didn’t turn on until this morning, so I went to the auto repair shop for inspection. Remove the tire and take a closer look. There is a nail in the groove. Shit, this is too hidden. No wonder I didn’t notice it visually.
Take off the tire and check it carefully. The nail is hidden.
More than an inch into the tire.
Patch the mushroom nails.
Exercise balance.
This time, it is required to achieve double 0. If my brother is the owner of an auto repair shop, I can be more “tough”.
Rice 80. Get it done and go home.
