Three-step process of replacing heating water pipes
During my habitual car wash cabin on Sunday, I found that there was a leak in the heating water pipes. When I checked the auxiliary kettle, there was basically no shortage. It should have just begun to leak. After learning the posts of the forum god, I felt that it was not too difficult, so I decided to practice my skills. Three steps done. 1. Pump antifreeze. 2. Remove the pipe. Third, replace new pipes.
Draw out about 1 liter of antifreeze to save waste when removing pipes.
Remove the auxiliary kettle tube and blow out 1 liter of antifreeze with an air gun.
Unscrew the three fixing screws M10 of the power oil can to make room for removing the fixing screws of the water pipe, because one screw of the water pipe is blocked by the power oil can.
Loosen the two M10 screws that fix the water pipes at the front and rear. You don’t have to completely unscrew them out. Just loosen them and retract them a little. Then loosen the clamps on the water pipes and the water pipes can be easily removed. Everyone can do this.
Replace with a new pipe, install the screws back and tighten them. Plug in the water return pipe of the kettle and pour the extracted antifreeze back into the kettle. Not a drop of water is wasted during the whole process. Start the car and observe it for a while. There is no leakage in the joints, and the project is completed. Observe for a few more days.
The original car water pipes are produced in 10 years.
Made in the Czech Republic, the quality is okay, and it has been used for 13 years.
Crack in the water pipes of the original car and leak point.
