Recently, the daytime temperature in Beijing has hovered around 8 or 9 degrees above zero, and the weather without wind can not feel too cold, and most of the nights can be kept at minus 2 or 3 degrees. However, the weather forecast is that with the arrival of cold air next week, Beijing will usher in a sharp drop in temperature, and the daytime temperature will also drop below zero, even accompanied by rain and snow. Low temperature weather will not only bring inconvenience to our work and travel, but also have an impact on the vehicles we use. I also maintained the vehicles early, so I would like to make a simple sharing here.
The tire pressure of automobile tire is different in winter and summer, and it is generally marked on the B-column on the side of the driver’s door. in order to ensure the safe use of the car, the tire pressure should be checked and adjusted in time after winter.
When I passed the 4s store after winter, I also asked the master to do a free check on the vehicles, including glass water and antifreeze to do a freezing point test. Low temperature has a particular impact on the battery, so it is necessary to check it. This time it was found that the antifreeze was deficient and was added in time.
In winter, we should form the habit of correct hot car, and the defecate oil can fully lubricate the relevant parts. I usually start the car in place for 8-10 seconds (you can obviously hear the engine noise drop from high), and then drive at a low speed for a period of time. Generally, the water temperature can reach 90 degrees after leaving the community. At this time, you can drive the car normally. The correct hot car before departure can not only protect the relevant equipment, but also effectively prevent the carbon deposition caused by insufficient combustion of gasoline in the engine, and it is also a measure to reduce the fuel consumption of the car, which can be seen from the picture below.
When using a car in winter, when the temperature difference between the inside and outside of the car is large, it is easy to form fog on the surface of the windshield, and air-conditioning defog can not be achieved immediately. I usually regularly make an anti-fog coating on the glass surface, which can effectively prevent the windows from fogging, the effect can be maintained for more than a month, and the integrity is effortless.
It is recommended to place snow shields on the surface of the vehicle windshield in winter, which can not only insulate the glass, prevent the window surface from frosting, affect the next morning’s trip, but also be easy to clean up in case of snowfall, reducing the travel preparation time.
When you use a car in winter, everyone will close the window, so it is necessary to have a healthy environment in the car, and the air conditioner filter element should be replaced in time before winter. The special geographical environment of Beijing also causes the poor air quality in winter, because I always insist on using PM2.5 to put haze filter element.
