I always love replacing the coolant tee

8 Taking advantage of the May Day holiday to do it, the original car tee was aging and leaking coolant. I bought an aluminum tee and used it longer. The water temperature sensor was replaced. The intake manifold was removed for convenient operation. After replacing the water temperature sensor, the starting temperature of the cooling fan was lower.
Leaks are clearly visible

The contact surface is conical and needs to be cleaned up.
After cleaning, shovel off the rust on the edge, otherwise it may squeeze the rubber ring and blow it dry with a hair dryer to avoid affecting the tightness.

Four fuel injectors are clean and use fuel additives often
Rubber rings are used together for better sealing. A thin layer of Toyota vinyl is applied. Toyota vinyl is really awesome.

This deflation nut slipped and did not move
Increase the level of antifreeze when adding coolant for better exhaust
Add the coolant and run it at idle speed. Let the thermostat turn on and the cooling fan work a few more times. Basically, it’s enough. I cleaned the throttle and finished work. Thanks for watching.![]()
