Repair leakage antifreeze and replace water pump
Recently, I found that I was always reminding me that there was a shortage of antifreeze, so I went to check it on Sunday. Because I was busy recently, I threw the car there and picked it up the next day. After taking it back, I stopped the car and found smoke in front of me. I thought it was a replacement water pump. The water left behind evaporated and left behind. As a result, the day before yesterday, he was reminded that there was a shortage of antifreeze. When I opened the cover this morning, I saw that there was a foundation left. I quickly drove the car over and rebuilt it.
Only the water pump was removed at first
It is judged that the water pump was not installed tightly last time and the sealing rubber ring was a little aged
I removed the water pump and replaced a rubber ring. I suddenly realized that there was a watermark on the right side. To be safe, I also removed the exhaust and turbine.
Found that there is also a watermark on the exhaust side
When I opened it, I found that there was a watermark on the outer side but not on the inner side. At this time, I no longer dare to think anything bad.
I took it apart and cleaned the watermark. I comforted myself that it was just a water pump, not a leaking cylinder mat. After discussing it with the master, we replaced all the rubber rings, cleaned up the watermarks, and did not install the bottom guard. We observed for a few days first. If we made sure there was no water leakage, everything would be fine, otherwise we would have to get off the engine.
Put it back first
I put it back into the car and tried it for half an hour. I took a photo with my mobile phone and felt that it was not leaking. Alas, continue to observe, God bless
Pray there will be no water under the car tomorrow morning
