The hydraulic support rod for the engine cover of Sharan’s original car was imported from the Stepirus brand. I have been driving this car for four years, and this thing is a little weak. It’s not as good as my Touan’s domestic Stepirus hood pole. It took me ten years to replace it.

I often open and close the mechanism cover, so this thing has to be replaced. Students who don’t really open and close the mechanism cover can ignore it…
I searched online and found that all imported ones were more than 200 pieces each, so I still bought domestic ones. Steppius has a factory in China and a flagship store online. The ones suitable for Sharan only cost about 100 yuan.

It’s easy to replace this thing. The tool only needs a small screwdriver. You have to pick up the clamp first. Be careful not to get rid of it. If it drops, it will take a lot of time to install it.
