11-year-old E260 Tuben-Annual Inspection-Coolant water pipe burst-Lying-Repair Notes

Since buying a tram, Tuben drives very little, 2k kilometers a year, and it is ready for maintenance once every two years.

Recently, I had something to do when I went to other places on a weekend, so I drove on a road trip and back 400 kilometers. I went to the annual inspection the next day. As a result, the brakes were abnormal and the coolant water pipe was cracked, as shown in the figure below.

At that time, the staff urgently called me out. I saw white smoke coming from the front of my car, and I was confused. Tuben was very healthy under the care and guidance of Yan Ban and everyone on weekdays. It was fine even after running 130 yards at a high speed. Why did you do this to me? I didn’t say anything at the scene. I only took photos, not videos, and immediately went to repair it slowly–(I didn’t have much antifreeze left, for fear that the water temperature would be too high and the engine would explode).

Subsequent vehicle inspection offices have been saying that it was caused by aging car parts + the recent low temperature, and that it was a non-violent annual inspection, but they still paid half of the repair money.

I have a lingering fear about this. If the water pipes burst on the highway, it would be inappropriate to lie down and call for a trailer. Tuben is getting older and is getting more and more worried…

The coolant water pipe is cracked, the coolant leaks, smoke, and blue coolant can be seen on the iron plate

This is where there is a clear breach.

The foot brake actually couldn’t bounce back, and it would automatically return to position when you stepped on it… It’s weird. I haven’t used the foot brake for a long time. I don’t know how this is done.

Tragedy, the thermostat also cracked

Replace thermostat

Both pipes have been replaced
