As May enters, the daytime temperature in Beijing often hovers around 30s. The scorching sun during the day also indicates that summer is coming, and the season when in-car air conditioners are frequently used soon. Due to the frequent smoking in the car, and the irritating smell of the seat covers purchased last year, new cars that have been used for more than two years have an unpleasant smell when the air conditioner is turned on. In September last year, the vehicle air conditioner was disinfected and disinfected. At the beginning of this year, the air conditioner was replaced. After the filter element, the situation has improved a lot, so I want to do a deodorization and sterilization operation on the vehicle’s air conditioning piping and interior space before summer comes, and now I will share the construction process.
As we all know, most of the odors in air conditioners in cars are caused by the growth of bacteria caused by humidity in the air conditioning pipes in summer. The air deodorant used this time also has a bactericidal effect.
Before construction, adjust all air conditioning outlets of the vehicle to open state.
After starting the vehicle, close all windows, turn on the air conditioner to adjust to the maximum air volume, and run in internal circulation mode for 5-10 minutes.
Then turn on the air conditioner A/C switch, select the cooling mode and adjust it to the lowest temperature, and use the internal circulation mode to run with the maximum air volume for 5-10 minutes.
Place the deodorant under the passenger’s armrest box with the nozzle pointed at the air conditioner inlet fan.
Press the valve hard, and when the nozzle is locked, white mist deodorant will continue to spray out into the air conditioner air inlet.
Close the door and wait for 10-15 minutes to allow the deodorant to fully apply to the air conditioning lines and the interior space in the vehicle circulation mode.
In order to ensure the sterilization and deodorization effect, I kept the vehicle cycling and killing for 15 minutes. Then, I turned off the A/C switch of the air conditioner, turned on the heating mode, adjusted the air conditioner gear to the maximum wind speed and maximum temperature, and ran for another 10 minutes to make the air conditioner The pipeline can be fully dried, and finally the engine is turned off to complete the killing operation.
Finally, open all doors of the vehicle and naturally ventilate for 10-15 minutes.
Finally, I would also share with motorists what we need to pay attention to when using vehicle air conditioners in summer. That is, when we are about to arrive at our destination, turn off the A/C cooling switch, adjust the internal circulation to the external circulation, adjust the air volume to the maximum, and use natural wind to exhaust the humid air in the air conditioning pipes, which is also a good way to avoid the breeding of bacteria in the pipes.
