Big Bear once again 4 rounds of cross transposition + dynamic balance
The new wheel hubs and the new tires of Mi Fatty also traveled almost 2W kilometers. I found time to go to the 4S shop to do a 4-wheel cross transposition + dynamic balance. After arriving at the store, he went to the workstation. After arriving at the 4S store, he first conducted an appearance and basic chassis inspection. After the wheel hub was marked, a young master removed the tire, and a master moved it to the tire testing station to begin dynamic balancing.
The set of tire/wheel maintenance equipment in Skoda 4S store is always a bit old, but they are all machines from big brands. The quality is absolutely beyond words and the accuracy is guaranteed. The most important thing is that the data is from the original factory.
The dynamic balancing machine is similar to the new models in tire shops outside. On the left side are small objects such as balance weights, cleaners, and valve cores. On the front right LED display, the two sets of 6 zeros on the left and right sides of the wheel hub/tire. Roundness, the best state is that the left 000/right 000 values (inside/outside of the wheel hub) displayed on the instrument are both 0.
The master clamped the tire (wheel hub) on the motor shaft and turned on the switch. After the wheel hub started to rotate at a low speed for more than ten seconds, the meter displayed the data value of the wheel hub (wheel). After the master found the position where the balance mass needed to be placed, he first marked it. Then spray a cleaning agent to wipe off the dust and oil stains, take out the balance mass with the same value as the meter displayed, and paste it at the marked position. After the balance mass was firmly bonded, the switch was activated again to test the wheel hub.
If there are not 6 zeroes and there is still a numerical display, you need to find the right position to configure the balance weight again. There are three ideal values for the four tires of Big Bear. The outer deflection value of the hub is 5, which means that a 5G balance weight needs to be added. The offset value of one wheel hub has greatly increased the 35G balance weight. After thinking about it, the only time that the rear wheel tilted on the curb was the factor causing the wheel hub to deform.
Dynamic balance is being done here, and brake suspension is being checked there. Since the new car, Daxiong has been running in between brake pads and brake discs. The brake discs have always been uneven and very depressed. It is said that the brake pads are too hard and the metal particles inside are too big.
After a while, the dynamic balance will be all tested and corrected. The young master will press the mark on the wheel hub and quickly install it in 4 rounds.
