[“Wo” technical sticker] S90 20,000 kilometers of tires fell off
A technical post was posted today and the Volvo S90’s 20,000-kilometer tires fell off. There should be some motorists who will have questions about why and what circumstances do they need to do. Today, I will answer them for motorists.
1. Why should we cut off the tires: Our S90 (gasoline model) is a front front drive, which means that the main weight of major components such as the engine is in front, and the front also serves as the driving and steering pressure, so the wear of the front tires and wheels must be greater than that of the rear wheels, so using tire cuts will increase the service life of the tires.
2. Under what circumstances do you need to cut off the tires: For front-mounted front-drive vehicles, if the vehicle can exceed 6w kilometers in 5-6 years, it is best to cut off the tires every 1- 2w kilometers. If the wear level has not yet reached when the tire reaches its useful life, you can choose not to cut off the tires.
When doing tire pairs, it is best to pair the left front and right rear, and the right front and left rear. When taking off the tire, you can check the tire wear and integrity. When I cut off the tire this time, I also re-checked the dynamic balance and found that there is no problem with the original factory dynamic balance.

There is no problem at all in doing dynamic balance
