[New pattern] GLK replaces the foot glue, so that the little G no longer shivers in the cold wind

Winter comes too fast, and the cold is hawking day and night. The cold wind came to the competition, and Han Xue covered the night. Wear a scarf when you go out and cover a quilt when you sleep. Eat more bones to replenish calcium, and exercise regularly will not be bad.
In the blink of an eye, even Guangzhou, where the seasons are like summer all year round, finally has a cold wave. The people of Guangzhou who wear short sleeves all year round finally have the opportunity to take out their down jackets and large cotton-padded jackets at the bottom of the box to compete with the cold. At this time, I finally realized that the farthest distance in the world is not the distance between life and death, and the temperature difference between inside and outside the bed in winter.
Perhaps in order to cater to the cold taste of winter, my little G’s shaking has become more and more obvious recently, mainly reflected in when turning at low speeds. For example, when leaving or entering the parking space, I will feel the body shaking more obviously. Looking online, this situation has occurred in most cars of the same year and kilometers. The reason is also very consistent. The foot glue of the engine and gearbox has aged, and many riders have already changed it, and the response is very good. Then there was no need to hesitate and took the time to drive directly to Lao Bai’s place.

Without saying much, the airs rose, and Lao Bai was gloriously reflected in the mirror

Change the gearbox foot glue first. The gearbox foot glue is easy to change, and it is inside this cover.

Open the lid and see it.

Another close-up

Just a few screws were removed in one turn. Let’s compare the old and the new. By the way, I didn’t replace it with the original parts.

and then screw on a new one

Done, then just put the lid back on

Next is the highlight, changing the engine foot glue

Engine up

There are two engine foot glue in total. This is on the driver’s side and is relatively easy to disassemble and disassemble.

This is on the passenger side and is also the most troublesome and time-consuming part of the entire project.

Loosen the screws from above first

The screws on it have been unscrewed

Next, the two masters are very serious and responsible, praise one

The foot glue of the engine on the driver’s side was successfully removed. Compared with the new one, it is indeed much shorter.

Put new ones on

Now that we are starting to work on the key and difficult points, let’s demolish them first

This is the removed three-way catalytic converter

I still can’t take it out. It’s blocked

Remove the baffle of the cross cross axle, use a screwdriver to top it, and finally come out

The height of the new foot glue put in was higher than the old one, so it was more difficult to put in. Fortunately, it was completed successfully and the major project of removing the half shaft was avoided. Thanks again to the masters for their hard work

Finally, let’s take a look at the comparison of old and new foot glue. After replacing it, I obviously felt that the car was different as soon as I got on the car. It stopped shaking, and the world was quiet again. My little G finally didn’t have to shiver in the cold wind!
