My BMW 320i (E90) has traveled nearly 210,000 kilometers, and fortunately, it has not burned oil so far. Its engine model is N46. The last time the spark plug was replaced was in early 2016. The spark plug replaced at that time was the same brand and model as today, namely NGK IZFR6H11 (NGK 4294) Iridium Platinum spark plug.

The mileage between these two replacements is 75,000 kilometers, and the interval is 4 years.

The last time I bought it from a cat, the price was 107 yuan/piece; this time I still bought it from a cat, but the price has dropped to 64 yuan/piece. Both purchases were made from sellers who showed NGK meization. A certain cat’s reputation and an unexpired meization letter should guarantee that it is authentic. The N46 engine is 4-cylinder and requires 4 spark plugs.

I went to a repair shop close to home to replace it. It’s a small shop. For more than ten years, the maintenance, maintenance and repair of my three cars have been done in this shop. The owner of the small shop was once a technician at a Volkswagen 4S store. After his wings became strong, he came out and worked alone. The charge was not high, but the technology was not bad. They were basically old customers and new customers passed down by word of mouth. The charge for replacing the spark plug this time is 50 yuan.
