The cause of this spark plug change is like this. Not long ago, when I started my car on fire, the OBD system alarm light on the dashboard suddenly lit up. The OBD system alarm light represented a fault in the exhaust system or engine parts, but after I restarted, the OBD alarm light no longer lit, so I personally think the possibility of fuel problems can be ruled out. My car started in April 2017 and ran almost 40,000 kilometers. At this time, I felt that it might be the spark plug problem, so there was the process of replacing the spark plug this time.

The place circled by the box is where the spark plugs are installed, the top is the ignition coil, and below the ignition coil are the spark plugs, a total of four.
First remove the ignition coil with a pneumatic wrench, and each ignition coil is fixed with two screws.
Pull out the ignition coil, some are very difficult to pull, so someone will break the ignition coil when they replace it.
All four ignition coils have been pulled out.
The next step is to remove the spark plug, which can only be reached with an extension rod.
The master works very fast. These are the four spark plugs removed. The four brothers have been working hard since the car left the factory, and now they can retire.
If you take a group photo of the old and the new, you can see that the old one is still very dirty.
A close comparison shows that two generations are preparing for the handover.
If you look carefully at the electrodes of the two spark plugs, you can see that the old ones are still badly burned and a little too hot.
The accessory number of spark plugs, it seems that there are few kinds of spark plugs in 4S store, so there is no choice.
Starting to install new spark plugs, tighten the lengthened rod directly.
The connection between the ignition coil and the spark plug is also greased, so it is difficult to pull it out this time for the sake of future disassembly.
Replace the ignition coil and fasten the screws.
Spark plugs and ignition coils have been installed back in place.
Then it is put back into the air filter box.
Put the pipe on the right back and the snap spring.
It’s done, and it’s back to normal.
You still have to wash your car for free, and choose to wash your car every time after maintenance, so as to save your own car wash.
