Eliminate abnormal noise from glass lifting (text)

The main and co-driver glasses can be lifted and lowered, and there are plastic strips fixed on the bottom. After winter, the plastic strips will harden. If you don’t pay attention to cleaning dust and other foreign matters in the strips frequently, the lifting glass will be very slippery and there will be abnormal noises similar to scratching the glass, which will make people very uncomfortable.

I bought a bottle of window lubricant online and repaired it myself today.

The first thing to do is to wipe the glass of the driver and driver clean, otherwise the glass will rise up and be directly stained again after the adhesive tape is maintained.
Lower the glass and carefully clean the sealant strip. Look at my adhesive tape. It’s all dust. It’s really dirty! Just wipe it with a wet car towel. If you can’t reach out in front, use a plastic shovel to wrap the towel and stretch it in to wipe it.
Insert the matching small thin tube into the lubricant bottle mouth firmly.
After the water in the sealing rubber strip is basically dried, align the small thin tube with the rubber strip and directly press the lubricant nozzle to spray out. Move the thin tube along the rubber strip while spraying, spraying all the rubber strips. Be careful not to press too hard, which may splash everywhere.
Wait a few minutes for the lubricant to absorb. Then I lifted the glass a few times to test the effect. It was indeed smoother and there was almost no sound!
After the glass is lifted up, check again to see if there is lubricant attached to the outside of the glass. If it adheres to the glass, it will affect your vision. Just wipe it directly with a wet towel, and then dry it with a clean car cleaning towel.
