Some time ago, there were relatively more long-distance runs, and more high-speed runs would be more long-distance runs. The quality of highways is obviously higher than that of ordinary highways, but the road conditions of different sections are quite different. Some sections are very quiet inside the car when driving, and some sections are driving on the road. The tire noise of cars is louder, and at this time, you will unconsciously complain about the sound insulation effect of LaVida.(Of course, the price is there, and you can’t expect too much.) When I came back, I looked up online for ways to improve the sound insulation effect. There are many ways to improve the sound insulation effect, let alone installing sound insulation cotton, sound insulation boards, sealing strips, etc. One of them is chassis armor painting.
Moreover, when a car is driving for a long time, the road conditions cannot be as smooth as highways. When you encounter potholes and mud roads, you can often hear that the chassis is hit. In fact, the chassis of the car is constantly experiencing various impacts and damage. Car chassis armor can effectively prevent car rust and corrosion from some chemical agents, and can also enhance sound insulation.
I feel more and more that it is necessary to install chassis armor, which can prevent rust and sound insulation, and the cost is not high. Of course, good chassis armor has better toughness and ductility, and will not peel off or leak water even after many years of use. Therefore, the quality of chassis armor painting is especially important. After repeated comparisons and consulting with friends in the car beauty shop, I chose a certain brand of chassis armor painting.
Because the chassis had to be cleaned before painting to increase the adhesion of the paint, I didn’t have the corresponding equipment and tools, so I went to my friend’s car beauty shop.
There was a car washing room in my friend’s shop that had just installed a car lift some time ago. For this reason, my friend joked that it seemed to be specially installed for me to spray the chassis.

Since you have to wait until it is completely dry before painting, after wiping it with a car towel, in order to save time, my friend used an air gun to blow it, so that it can dry faster.
The painted areas are part of the chassis where there is no protective plate (most of the chassis has been painted with chassis armor and protective plates have been installed), and there are also parts of the rear wheels where the vehicle body is exposed in two places.

I don’t know if it was a psychological effect or what, but after the paint surface was almost dry, I felt that the car was much quieter while driving on the road. When I got on the highway again, I welcomed a quieter car environment.
