The front side of the bumper hit something last time. It was a long time ago. The paint surface fell off and needed to be repaired. After all, it is an old car. If the paint is too new, there will be color differences, which is inevitable. In addition, although the bumper is available, I still consider replacing it in the future. Because I have installed an insect net inside myself, I consider having the 4S spray paint and install it myself.
It has been more than 5 years since I purchased this POLO, and it has been 11 years since I had to repair the front wheel brake system a while ago. I thought that although the rear wheel has little wear, it has never been disassembled. Taking advantage of the recent good weather, I will also repair the rear wheel brake system. If there are any problems, solve them in time. If there are no problems, I will feel more at ease after checking. Judging from the demolition and inspection, the 10-year-old car has little problem, and the brake pads are also very thick. After careful analysis, on the one hand, the brakes mainly rely on the front wheels, and also depend on the frequency of use. On the other hand, the rear wheel drum brake has shrunk, and the braking effect is average, which also reduces the wear of brake pads to a certain extent. However, it is recommended to remove and repair it regularly. After repairing it again, I feel much more at ease when I see the thick brake pads, and I may not need to open them again in the future.
The weather is cold now. When the cold car is started in the morning, the engine squeaks violently, but the hot car does not. I know that the belt is aging. After thinking about it, I haven’t replaced this car since taking over. Considering better use in the future, don’t drag it, replace it in time. If you want to replace it, replace it comprehensively, and replace it with the three-piece set together. After thinking about it again and again, I didn’t do it myself. It might be difficult to operate without a lift, so I came to a familiar store. After replacing it, the car started cold the next morning, and there was no squeaking sound. Wearing parts and aging parts can be replaced in time.
