XTS has a very strong Yuanbaoliang. In fact, I feel that the power unit of the front drive platform is very difficult to layout, the whole weight ratio and handling of the car body can not be compared with the rear drive model, and what is even more annoying is the smaller steering angle. The main reason why the major manufacturers are still developing models of the front-drive platform is mainly because of the cost.
Oil release, gravity oil change is now mainly applied to the oil change process. At present, another method in the post-repair market is to use a pumping unit to extract the residual oil from the engine, and the effect is very good. But the prerequisite is that the hole in the oil ruler is big enough.
Start to change the gearbox oil, although the cycle machine is used to replace the gearbox oil. But it is best to release the oil deposited inside the oil pan of the transmission first. Because the gearbox oil deposited at the bottom of the oil pan contains a lot of impurities, the impurities can be released by inertia by using this gravity method.
As much as five liters of gearbox oil was released by gravity. This mass is large enough for a general-purpose gearbox. It is common for many models, including the LaCrosse, to be able to release about two liters of fuel.
Whether it is engine oil or gearbox oil, the temperature requirements are extremely strict, it can be said that it is very sensitive to temperature. This is why many cars have oil radiators, power oil radiators, gearbox oil radiators. The goal is to have only one. Keep the oil at a constant temperature. On the water tank of XTS, the radiator of gearbox oil is integrated, and the gearbox oil is cyclically replaced through the heat dissipation pipeline.
Install the special hose for the gearbox oil circulation machine, and the other end is directly connected to the circulation machine.

The power supply of the circulation machine uses the 12V power supply in the car, which can be directly linked to the terminal post of the battery when it is replaced.
The whole operation process of the circulation machine greatly saves the labor intensity. Now only one person can do it, and can achieve higher replacement efficiency.
