Prepare for hands-on operation:
The first step is to find the pull ring of the cover and gently pull it out to hear the cover pop.
Step 2: Open the second lock on the cover so that the cover can be opened normally.
Step 3: Use a brace to support the cover.
Step 4: Prepare the screwdriver and remove the screws one by one. Pay attention to the parts. The screws must be placed properly after being removed and do not fall into the cabin. I usually put them directly in my clothes pocket.
There was a screw under the air intake pipe. I didn’t remove it because it was difficult to operate. During maintenance, I saw that the maintenance master would not remove it either, so I followed suit.
Step 5: Pull the cover apart a little to remove the air filter element, which is very convenient. It can still be seen that the air filter element is very dirty. After all, it has been a year and is less than 10,000 kilometers long. Since it is dirty, it is necessary to replace it.
Get ready to buy air filter elements that you have bought in advance.
If you don’t compare the old and the new, you can’t imagine how dirty the old one is. (I don’t feel particularly dirty when I just look at the old ones alone, but it will show when I compare them)
I broke open myself and blew on the ash layer inside with my mouth. I could really blow off some of the dust.
Step 6: Break off the cover, install the new air filter element, and cover the cover.
Step 7: Install and tighten the screws one by one.
The last step is to put the cover brace back into place and fix it before locking the cover.
