Fortunately, it was a blessing in disguise.
But I found a problem, that is, less than half of the brake on the right side was worn out, while the left side was almost worn out. The master said that it might be caused by driving habits and the frequency of turning in the same direction. If there was such a possibility, I left the brake on the right side, and when the worn one on the left side was almost replaced next time, it would be saved.
I observed it and found that the original 4s brakes are not as big as the car’s own brakes. You can help me take a look. I don’t know if I’m confused by it.
However, the workmanship is not to be picked up. The origin is Italy, and there are ceramic particles in it, which are evenly distributed and densely distributed. After all, all ceramics are not used in cars of our class. I guess the factory is a factory, which is the leftover material used for ceramic brakes. It can be used and distributed to C-class cars. This will generate economic benefits without wasting it. Two birds with one stone. I support this approach. After all, saving resources is a good thing. Compared with other manufacturers under the same size, the performance of our brakes has also been greatly improved.
At first, I thought that there was only one brake on the outside, a pair of 1400, but the result was two brake pads at one time. They were used to clamp the brake discs and force them. I gained knowledge, so I like to stay in the workshop to learn from the masters and understand some basics. Car knowledge is still helpful for using cars in the future.
Moreover, the weight of the brake pads is not light and is a good thing made of real materials. The master also said that the wheel hub is generally magnetic and will absorb the powder generated by the brake on the wheel hub to prevent it from being scattered in the air and being sucked into by other drivers.
Later, when putting on new brake pads, two more details were added. One was to release the air from the rubber ring inside, and the other was to butter the edge of the brake pads. He was very careful to like the 4s point boy and also gave us car owners The opportunity to observe and learn from close range is very good.
After I finished using it, I used a torque wrench to tighten it several times. I said that it had to be in place many times and didn’t feel troublesome. Braking is life. It is indeed the case. The serious and responsible attitude is great.
There are still tens of thousands of kilometers left for the rear wheel brakes. I will be changed in the 4s shop next time, and I will bring homework for everyone then.
