We need to use the remote-controlled car key every day. Generally speaking, this battery can last for 3-5 years, depending on the frequency of use. Because I use the car a lot every day, the battery is also very expensive. Recently, I found that the remote control key of my car is a little less sensitive. It used to be able to lock the car from a long distance, but now it is much worse, so I bought a new button battery sometime to test whether the old battery could work, and if it couldn’t work, replace it.

2. Replacement process:

This is the unopened battery I bought. The power efficiency has increased a lot. This battery is said to be gold-plated, so its stability and conductivity should be very good.

Looking at the details again, there are positive and negative pole tips before and after, and there are also numbers. It seems that it is an original product.

Take a photo of the new button battery with the remote-controlled car keys I use now.

The master responsible for replacing the battery quickly helped me open the back cover of the remote control key. The old battery can be taken out with a little force along the bottom. Although the interior is relatively clean, it is not drained, so I have always used a silicone sleeve to protect it.

This is a new battery. Check its power.

You can see that the new battery is fully charged and has a full battery.

Looking at the old battery again, it was exactly the same as mine. It was obviously in a state of loss of power. Although there was still electricity, it could not reach its original state. It was replaced today.

Compare the old and new batteries. The colors of the two are very different, but the new battery still has a higher value.

After replacing the button battery, the remote control distance is obviously extended a lot. It can be used within 50 meters, and the car locking sound is clearer. This avoids the embarrassment of not being able to remotely lock the car after the button battery is used up. It is more safe to use, and it is still worth it to spend a little money.
