Continuation of the previous chapter, curiosity killed the cat, but I couldn’t help but take apart the starter.

The shell of the black motor on the left was riveted, so it was not removed. Only the shell on the gear side was removed.

With the new carbon brushes replaced, it is still difficult to start the cold car after loading. To replace the carbon brushes, you only need to remove the rear shell, but you don’t need to remove the gear.

Get down to business and change the oil.

This is a hat suitable for the new filter. I thought it would be the same as the old and new models. As a result, the old one required a 72-73 model, but I didn’t have it on hand. I only drained the oil on the first day, and borrowed a chain wrench to remove the filter the next day.

Although I bought 40 oil, I still decided to use 30 oil first.

This glove is used to unscrew the oil drain screw last time to avoid spraying oil on your hands.

The oil drain screws are 13 mm.

The big chain wrench is so powerful that it squashes the machine.

When unscrewing the filter, a lot of oil leaked. The color of the braised sauce was the same. When taking this photo, the camera automatically switched to food mode.

I have never heard of this brand.

Pour waste oil into the bottle

The 5-liter oil drum shows that the oil should be more than 3 liters by visual inspection. Including the leakage from the machine filter, it is almost 4 liters. Finally, 4 liters of new oil were added.
