Changing recorder into fuse box to obtain electricity

When I picked up the car and went home, I bought a driving recorder and installed it myself. I had been using it for more than two years. At that time, I wanted to save trouble and chose to get electricity from the cigarette lighter. Although the installation saved trouble, the wiring could not be completely hidden. I didn’t feel anything at first. As time went on, the hook that stuck to the interior panel would always fall off, and the wire would droop down. I was very depressed. I had been thinking that I had a little OCD for more than two years and finally couldn’t help it. So I decided to buy a buck cord and change it into a safety box to get electricity. Get started as soon as the goods arrive!

The wire above was pulled down when installing ETC

There were a few hooks stuck here, but they all fell off over time. Later, when they couldn’t stick together, they took off and threw them away. The cord kept hanging like this, making it awkward to look at

If you buy a buck cord and electrical appliance online, you still need to choose a better quality thing, and of course the price is more expensive.

The workmanship is still good, with integrated electrical step-down cord and temperature control protector

The output is a USB female port, which is convenient to plug directly into the USB port of the driving recorder. It is also convenient to return the driving recorder in the future, without considering the problem of inuniversal interface.

The insurance plate I gave was 5A, and the driving recorder was enough

First remove the original cord

The line is still relatively long

Then retrace the line from the right

Just use a pry board to pry open the gap and just slip the wire in.

If you plug it here, you need to remove the A-pillar trim panel

Pushing open the lid of the fuse box

Remove the A-pillar trim panel with a little force. There are three clips in total

Wrap the recorder wire and the original car wire with flocked tape to avoid abnormal noises

Almost all wrapped up

Connect the electrical appliance below, read the instructions, and find that the cigarette lighter insurance is No. 33

Pull out the corresponding insurance plate No. 33

Plug the supplied insurance discs and the original vehicle insurance discs into the power remover, and pay attention to the correct order. The 15A inserted into the original vehicle below is shared by the driving recorder and cigarette lighter, and the 5A inserted into the driving recorder above is used.

Plug the electrical appliance into port 33

Tighten the wiring

Try plugging in the driving recorder

Open the key door and turn on power

Close the key door and cut off power, ok, no problem

The rest is to tidy up the wiring harness

Wrap it with flocking tape and fix it with a strap to prevent abnormal noises

Reinstall the A-pillar panel

Buckle the lid of the fuse box

ok Completed, look at it now, it’s much more refreshing than before, haha
