2009 POLO Power SP manual replacement clutch three-piece set
The disassembly and assembly process is as follows: remove the battery, air intake pipe, clutch gear cable, tire, lower swing arm, remove pull rod, remove two half shafts, remove the wiring harness plug fixed on the transmission, remove the starter, and drain the transmission oil (You can also choose not to put it), remove the transmission bracket and lower bolts, hold the engine, remove the upper screws of the transmission, lower the transmission, remove the release bearing, and remove the pressure plate and friction plates.
The installation order is reversed. The gearbox oil must be added after the gearbox oil is re-fixed to ensure the correct amount. The specification is 75W-90 and requires approximately 1.9 liters.
The removed friction plates were basically worn to the limit, there were high temperature marks on the edge of the pressure plate, the spring claws were uneven, and there was already a shallow circle of pits in the middle of the plane of the release bearing.
After replacing the three-piece set, the problem of sometimes shaking before the start, and the problem of certain shaking when the slope starts is completely solved. The force required for the clutch to pedal is less than half of that before, and it is obvious that the power transmission is more agile. The performance under high-gear and low-speed conditions is obviously better than before. A qualitative leap, the next step depends on the fuel consumption performance. Personally, I feel that spending more than 700 yuan to replace it is still very worth it.
During the dismantling process, the condition of each chassis part was checked. The rubber sleeves of the balance bar, lower swing arm, bracket and other are in good condition. Only the rubber sleeve of the left small boom has slipped out. The problem is not big. The current performance is normal, and it can be replaced by yourself in the future. The steering gear and half-shaft cage are intact; the two front shock absorbers have been replaced before without any problems. The two rear shock absorbers have been replaced with very slight oil leakage. The current performance is normal, and the exhaust system hangers are normal. Except for extremely slight oil leakage from the oil pump (vision is not very good, guess yes), there is no other oil leakage and no antifreeze leakage.
