Some time ago, I posted a post on the forum for help and found that there were traces of liquid leakage on the ground and guard plate. After testing by the repair shop, it was determined that the water pump leaked antifreeze. Unfortunately, I was gloriously laid off after persisting for 12w kilometers… Of course, the water pump is also one of the common problems of ea888.
Then comes the key quotation process:
1. SSSS quoted 1600 for water pump, 400 for working hours, and 3000 for antifreeze, totaling 2300.
2. The repair shop quoted 650 for the water pump, 150 for the working hours, and 180 for the antifreeze, totaling 980 yuan.
Today, I decisively went to a local repair shop for maintenance. The intake manifold was not removed and it took 3.5 hours to complete the replacement…
