1. Tools
One OBD detector that can detect the ignition advance angle (just over 100 yuan)

2. Key Materials
Oil, fuel

3. The first step:
Determine whether of course the engine idle ignition advance angle is–
Idle speed ≥5°
(Oil performance has the greatest impact. It is recommended to use fully synthetic oil that meets A5/B5 or even PSA certification)

Peugeot Citroen OEM OEMs lubricating oil certification standards (from low to high):

B71 2295 Mineral Oil Certification

B71 2300 Semi-synthetic oil certification

B71 2296 Synthetic Oil Certification

B71 2290 Emission Control Synthetic Certification

B71 2206–2302 Synthetic Technology C1-C2 Certification

B71 2312 Synthetic Technology C2 Certification (Fuel Energy Saving)

The order of selecting lubricating oil certification standards:

OEM OEMs Certification Standards> EU ACEA Standards>API S* Standards

4. Step 2:
Make sure that driving at a constant speed (it should be met no matter which gear is in), the ignition advance angle is ≥30°
(This working state can be achieved only when the fuel label truly meets 95-98)

5. Road test
During the 80-kilometer test run under congestion and high speed, the engine power is on call no matter what the situation is, and the driving experience has been improved by one level.
This is what 1.6thp should do!
The oil capacity that is subject to daily maintenance is insufficient, and the fuel label is often inflated, making it impossible to exert its true capabilities.

Ordinary fully synthetic engine oil, certified ACEA C2, fuel is 95. The ignition advance angle at idle speed basically swings between 0-3°

Shell fully synthetic engine oil, certified as ACEA A5/B5, and fuel No. 95.
Ignition advance angle at idle speed swings between 5-6.5°

Shell fully synthetic engine oil, certified as ACEA B5/B5, fuel grade 95 98 mixed in each half tank. It is basically above 30° under driving conditions.
The ignition advance angle at idle speed is extremely stable at 6-6.5°.
