Tiguan Lphev is a practical home hybrid SUV. Large space and low fuel consumption are its most distinctive features. However, during daily use, the remote control key standard on the vehicle uses a keyless entry state, so the power consumption of the remote control key is relatively large. After using my car for 11 months, I feel that I feel a little less responsive when I stand far away and remotely control it. Personally, I felt that the battery of the remote control key was low, so I bought a battery to replace it.

CR2025 3V lithium manganese dioxide battery

The Tiguan Lphev remote control key uses a CR2025 3V lithium manganese dioxide battery: C-a chemical battery system with lithium metal as the negative electrode and manganese dioxide as the positive electrode, R-means that the shape of the battery is cylindrical, and if it is square, replace F, 20 means that the diameter of this battery is 20mm, and 25 means that the thickness of this battery is 2.5 mm. The nominal voltage is 3.0V, the end point voltage is 2.0V, and the rated capacity ranges from 140- 170mAh.
Usually, the life is 5 years. If the manufacturer’s manufacturing level is not high or the quality control is not good, its life will be greatly shortened. Batteries from domestic first-line brands can basically guarantee this life. If the operating environment is ideal (sealed, room temperature, no interference from water), its life will be further extended, up to 8 years or even 10 years. After continuous improvement in recent years, the performance of domestic lithium manganese dioxide batteries has become closer and closer to the level of Japanese batteries, especially the domestic first-line manufacturers. Of course, there are also a large number of small factories that do not make brands that produce low-end batteries, and the performance and quality will differ greatly.
