The LaVida 13, which was picked up in April 2014, was changed to a 1.6L automatic comfort version, and its pair of “wolf eyes” were always full of brilliance. On January 8, 2021, Lao Lang, who had been driving for 6 years and 9 months and drove 54270 kilometers, burned out the headlight blisters for the first time.
Here’s the thing. Because the car was parked in the underground garage and turned on the lights before starting, I felt that the lights were a little abnormal. There was a light area on the left side, but the lights on the right side did not seem to have a light area.
So he got off the car and checked, and indeed the right headlight was not on.
Looking closer, the right headlight and low beam are no longer on.
For comparison, the low-beam bulb of the right headlight goes out.
When I returned to the car, I looked at the instrument panel. There were no alarm lights on it. I was a little puzzled at that time. In the past, as long as the brake lights and backup lights at the back were not on, the instrument immediately gave an alarm. Why is the low beam no longer on and the meter does not alarm?
If the headlights are not on, driving at night is dangerous. Without saying anything, I drove to the 4S store.
The master asked about the situation and first opened the cover to check the light bulb.
The low beam area is on the outside and the high beam area is on the inside.
The low beam area is on the outside, and the working space is small. To inspect the bulb, the first thing to do is remove the rubber shield in the light area. Due to the sealing protection of this shield, dust, water vapor and mosquitoes are not allowed to enter. The master is taking out the shield.
Remove the rubber guard.
Remove the cover and turn on the light to see what the light area looks like. The low-beam light bulb is plugged into the bulb connecting cord holder.
The connecting cord holder was pulled out, and the light bulb showed its face.
Pull the light bulb out of the cord holder.
After unplugging the light bulb, we looked at the connecting cord holder and could see that the light bulb and the holder were plug-in connection.
Looking at the bulb, you can see that the filament and lamp tube are obviously black, which shows that the reason why the low beam beam is not bright is that the bulb is burned out.
Change the light bulb, place an order, a low-beam light bulb 31 yuan.
Spare parts are shipped out of the warehouse and new light bulbs are packaged.

Install new light bulbs. Because the position of the lamp area was inconvenient and the clamping slot of the bulb base had to be adjusted to close, it took a while for the master to put the bulb into the lamp slot.
I picked up the old light bulb and looked through the base. The model number was marked on the base, and I saw that the base had a card slot.
Well, the light bulb has been put in the trough.
Then connect and compress the connecting wire holder.
Try to ignite the fire, the light came on.
Finally, don’t forget to cover the rubber guard.
The old wolf’s eyes returned to their usual sharpness.
Concluding remarks:
1. Lighting is an important safety factor for driving at night, and problems must be repaired in time.
2. Maintenance in 4S is generally more expensive. I spent 31 yuan to replace the light bulb this time. This 31 yuan is the price of the light bulb. This is the path of retail spare parts prices. There is no maintenance order issued, so no working hours are charged.
3. Regarding the problem that the meter does not alarm when the low beam is not on, I also consulted the maintenance technician. The reason is that the rear series lights of our car have entered the in-vehicle system, and if there is a problem with the rear lights, the meter will alarm; the front lights do not enter the in-vehicle system, so the meter does not alarm when the low beam is not on.
