Since the car was picked up, the Wuling mini ev mini car did not have an air conditioning filter element. I have been worried about it and has been looking for a suitable solution. However, the built-in filter element could not be added, so I should get an external dust barrier. It’s better than nothing.

So under the size of the group’s cigarette case, there was a first version of the plan. It was originally envisaged to use a 40-caliber bellows, but after dismantling the car, I found that there was no suitable layout path, and there was a windshield iron plate at the air outlet position to suppress it, so I gave up.
Later, a rider provided the general size, and finally he had time to tear up the car and measure the specific size. Finally, the plan was released.
In the end, a welder’s rear mask was used to extend the air intake into the cabin to facilitate later replacement of the filter element.

Let’s start with how to install it.
Remove the wiper first and use the 13 sleeve
It was difficult to remove the first time, so you can remove the wiper by lifting it up and prying it.
Remove the wiper trim panel, pay attention to removing the small cover plates on both sides first

Finally, adjust the pipeline, open and close the cover for debugging, so that its bent position does not interfere with other components when closing the cover.
Reinstall the wiper trim panel and wiper and finish.

There is no suitable route for routing the thick pipe, so it will be particularly troublesome to directly add the filter element to the external circulation port and replace it later. In the mini external circulation mode, the blower will draw air from the external circulation air inlet and the internal circulation air inlet at the same time, so the pipe diameter problem will not affect the actual air outlet volume of the air conditioner outlet, and will only reduce the proportion of air outside the vehicle, but it achieves a fixed dustproof effect. Personally, I think it is worth installing it, so don’t spray it if you don’t like it!
