While changing the oil, it was found that there was oil leakage at the base of the intake camshaft position sensor. There was a problem with the sealing ring on the sensor.
Some time ago, I happened to talk to Xiao Xiong about the phenomenon of oil leakage in this place. I didn’t expect that my car would start leaking so quickly. Fortunately, it was not serious, so I bought a sealing ring.

Remove the fixing bolt, but the sensor is still very tight. Use a linear screwdriver to gently pry the metal seat.

The old sealing ring completely lost its elasticity and was very hard. It would break if it were bent slightly.

Recovery.

The four bolts on the engine cover plate are all rusty, so I am going to replace them with new ones to save trouble in case they break.

The screws arrived the next day, and one of them was used, but these were not disposable screws anyway.

Subsequently, a year later, the same position began to leak again. This time, I bought a brown sealing ring that matched the EA111 on idle fish and replaced it with it to try the effect.
