The old champion, the generation of EA888, has been ups and downs for ten years!
I’m lucky that I’ve caught up with all the problems that should have been on the 888!
Fortunately, Volkswagen has successfully trained me to become a half-repairman!
In the first few years, it was a part of modification and trouble. The enthusiasm was high and there was a lot of trouble. In the following years, it became a part of maintenance!
Carbon deposits are like this in the first and second generations of 888. They cannot be avoided. There is no other good way. It is the most direct to remove and wash!
This time, you must clean the manifold, intake passage, intake valve, fuel injection nozzle, and throttle valve carefully and thoroughly! Replace the inlet port sealing rings, the front and rear sealing rings of the fuel injection nozzle!

Here, I must thank my brother,”One Person 666″ worked so hard for me in the early stage!

Operate the whole process alone for 5 hours!

Prepare some materials and tools!

Unplug the low pressure oil pump safety, SC27

Unplug the pressure regulating valve of the high-pressure oil pump, then ignite and wait for the vehicle to automatically stall, so that the high pressure in the fuel line can be relieved!

Done! No lubricant must be applied to the front seal!

Clean the oil nozzle and see the atomization!
You can only touch it in a point-to-point manner, and you cannot always supply power to the fuel injector!

Clean the manifold and replace the sealing rings!

Clean it up and reinstall the oil injection nozzle! No lubricant must be applied to the front seal. After replacing the rear seal, apply clean engine oil!
