308 Key to replace battery.

12 My friend’s 308 has been in operation for more than 4 years. Suddenly one day he told me that pressing the key did not respond. So my first reaction was that the remote control was out of batteries. First of all, I went online and checked that the battery used for this key was CR1620 button battery. So I placed an order in a certain east to buy 2 batteries.

There is a groove in the butt of the key.
I found my toolbox.
He picked a straight screw head of a suitable size and pressed it on the screwdriver.
First, I put a linear screwdriver in the groove, and then rotated it, and a crack appeared, but the key shell still did not open, so I found another linear screwdriver and inserted it into the crack, and then raised the screwdriver to the crack below.
The lower screwdriver turned and the shell was tilted open.
Finally, the shell was opened. Inside is a simple circuit board, mechanical keys, and batteries.
Let’s take out the circuit board.

Close-up of old batteries, let’s take out the old batteries first.
Remove the old battery first. Compare it with the new battery.
CR1620 battery.
Look at the old battery 3V CR1620
Then pick out the new battery and put it in the key. Then put the circuit board back on.
This is the side with the mechanical key.
Install the enclosure in the installation space. I went to experiment and the car responded.
