For Weilan 380 series engines, because they are direct injection in the cylinder plus manifold injection, and have dual injection systems, the spark plug ignitions per second are much higher than that of ordinary EFI engines, and the in-cylinder temperature is also higher. This requires extremely high requirements on the spark plug. Therefore, it is recommended that riders must replace the double platinum spark plug in time!

Note: Volkswagen officially recommends that the spark plug replacement cycle be 20,000 kilometers. I personally suggest that the replacement cycle be 30,000 kilometers!

There are two main brands of commonly used spark plugs: Japan’s NGK and Germany’s BOSCH. SAIC Volkswagen’s original spark plugs are manufactured by NGK, and FAW-Volkswagen’s original spark plugs are manufactured by NGK and BOSCH. No matter which brand, as long as the model is correct, riders can use it with confidence!
