15 E260L repair brake caliper failure

The 15 E260L models are more than 5 years old and have traveled more than 90,000 kilometers.
Outside the 4S shop, the first set of tires (4 Chaoyang tires 235 45 18) and the first set of brake pads (Matun brake pads, 4 rounds of working hours cost 760 yuan). There was no problem in replacing the tires. After the brake pads were replaced, the rear two wheels locked and the brake pads could not be reset. Later, I went to the 4S shop to inquire about the brake pads and replied that I used unqualified brake pads and suggested replacing them with the original ones (about 3000 in total). After thinking about it, I still drove back to the repair shop that replaced my brake pads. After communicating with the master, the master initially judged that it was a brake caliper problem (because the brake pads could not be reset). After removing the caliper, he found that the sleeve of the brake pads pushed by the caliper was deformed and could not freely expand and retract, resulting in the brake pads being unable to reset, resulting in locking the brake.

Remove brake caliper

When taking out the brake caliper, use pliers to clamp the brake oil pipe, rotate the lower caliper, and use the high-pressure air pipe to aim at the brake oil hole to blow out the sleeve.

The sleeve is stuck and cannot expand freely.
The solution is to use the high-pressure air pipe to hold the brake oil hole and blow the sleeve out (if it cannot blow out, put the caliper back on the car to step on the brake, use hydraulic pressure to push out part of the sleeve and remove it and then blow it with high-pressure air).

Blow out the condom

Removed.

Wrap the sleeve with water-abrasive sandpaper and water and thread it back and forth until it can be easily placed back in the caliper.
After the calipers on both sides were covered with sand, the car ran for more than 300 kilometers and the brake pads were no longer locked.
Why are the two front wheels not locked and the two rear wheels locked? This is because the sleeves on the two front wheels are made of metal and the two rear wheels are made of hard plastic (this is my personal understanding, I don’t know what material it is).
In more than 5 years, when the brake pads slowly thinned, the hard plastic sleeves for the two rear wheels were slowly pushed out of the caliper by brake fluid. Most of them were exposed to the air for 5 years, and they would be slightly deformed.
