Since returning from Tibet last year for routine maintenance, I have not driven out of the city. Today, I have only traveled more than 7500 kilometers in nearly nine months, with an average mileage of 830 per month. Change the oil every 10,000 kilometers. I originally wanted to change the oil in early August, but this is too long. I chatted with my 4S brother yesterday and he said it was a bit long. Well, go get it done immediately.
This maintenance time, in addition to replacing oil, air filter elements and air conditioning filter elements, the front and rear wheels were also shifted and dynamically balanced, and brake pads were checked.
The air filter element is not very dirty, but the air conditioning filter element is very dirty. The brake pads are still 4-5mm thick by visual inspection, and the master said that they can still drive at least 10,000 kilometers. It takes a long time to dynamically balance the tires. It took about 20 minutes to make the two rear wheels first. When making the two front wheels, I went to observe it, which really took time: the master needed to adjust both the left and right data of one tire to “0”. This detail makes me sigh. Although 4S stores charge a little higher, the standards implemented by craftsmanship are also high. Before driving a car, tire dynamic balancing was also done in some auto repair shops. It would be enough to apply it to both sides less than “10”, which is said to be within the standard range.
The 4S brother asked me where I was going this year, and I said I still wanted to enter Tibet. He said that he had a friend planning to drive into Tibet by himself in June and July. I said I would trouble him to ask about the epidemic prevention and control policies on the way to Tibet by then and inform me in time. If it is not too troublesome along the way, I will prepare to drive into Tibet by myself for the third time.

The engine oil in the 4S shop is also shipped in September 2019, and this time it is all from small pots. I asked why? Answer: If they buy a batch of this oil, it will last for four to five years. I only sweat.

I used 4 and a half small pots of engine oil. The 4S brother originally ordered 4 small pots and used the small pot I brought with me. I didn’t agree. The two pots I brought with me, one big and one small, will be used on my road trip this year and next. I asked him to order five small pots. The remaining one-third of the small pots of oil are actually useless. For me, because at present, my bobcats don’t “burn oil.”

The air compartment is not cleaner. Although it can be used again with an air gun, I still replaced it with a new one.
