I cleaned it up once in 20 years. I mailed it to Taobao for 500 yuan. Yanbian in the jar sent me a clean up link and cleaned it himself as usual. It was fine and there were no trouble codes. However, the fault code of the airbag has not been eliminated yet. Lazy… Let’s go another day.

There is a small hole on the left and right. A screwdriver is inserted in and pushed in. With a click, the airbag will bounce up to one side. Just do the same on the other side.

The airbag hole on the other side is also inserted and poked in.

Unplug the yellow plug.

This one on the right is the airbag socket

Remove the brown one on the left side as well and tighten the screws.

Note that there is a mark in the middle of the steering lever, which coincides with the mark on the steering wheel. Turn the steering wheel straight when parking in advance.

Two decorative covers

A circle of dust…

Raise the steering wheel, pull it straight up here. There is also a plug inside. You can take it off by reaching in and taking it off. I forgot to take a photo of the plug inside.

After tearing down…

98 degrees industrial alcohol… There’s almost no water. Don’t be afraid of corrosion in water, and this concentration itself can clean electronic components. Screwdrivers, cotton swabs, and the tea towel I used last time are back on display. The cover can be disassembled and put on by screwing down 4 screws.

The signal board doesn’t look dirty, but it’s still open to erase.

Finally, the whole thing was removed. The three small buckles on the back were removed with a screwdriver and wiped them separately.

By the way, I used the lubricating oil and grease that I had previously oiled the mechanical keyboard to lubricate the pinion gears in the steering wheel and the small bearings on the back of the copper sheet.

After dismantling and replacing, this place has to be aligned

After cleaning and loading the car, I didn’t take photos when I loaded the car. How was it disassembled and how to put it back?

There is only one airbag code left, but I can’t find my tool to erase the code. I searched for a long time but I couldn’t find it. I will find a roadside stall to erase it another day.

For timing, the white plastic gear under the left copper plate has a timing hole that needs to face the second tooth of the black gear. The small hole of the arrow on the right faces the first tooth of the white light guide plate.
