DIY cleaning filter elements before winter

3 Taking advantage of the rising temperature before winter, clean the filter element for my wife’s scooter to ensure that the car works normally!
The KN cleaning kit I purchased at a certain treasure
Just clean its lungs
Open the trunk and ignore the messy trunk
Lift up the insulating felt and see the upper partition of the engine
Open the partition and you can see the internal organs.
Remove the air filter element. With this design, it is more difficult to remove
This is the lung of the car. It doesn’t look dirty and should run less.
The air intake direction is a bit dirty
First spray KN cleaning agent onto your lungs to clean up the dust, and leave it for 20 minutes to fully dissolve the dust
Clean the car while disintegrating the dust
Clean front tires
Clean rear tires
Twenty minutes later, rinse the filter element with clean water. The flowing water is still dirty, which means that the filter element is dirty
After cleaning, dry it upright and use heating. It should be able to dry it quickly.
When I opened the front cover and cleaned it, I found that the antifreeze was missing
Refill the antifreeze to the normal level immediately
This is the standard level of antifreeze.
Check out the front cabin cleaning is still relatively clean, right?
The filter element is dry and looks good
The little thing is still made in the United States, I don’t know if it’s true or false
Prepare filter element care oil
Start oil the filter element and spray it all onto
It’s finally completed, the reinstallation is complete, it’s dark, and it’s time to go home to eat. The elf is much cleaner! haha
