At the beginning of this year, I upgraded the Heilang headlamp, bid farewell to the halogen lamp of the original car, and upgraded the high-equipped hernia headlamp assembly, which so far reminds me that it is still a happy thing to upgrade this headlamp.
Heilang upgraded headlights, there is no doubt about its actual value, and the appearance of the vehicle also has a great improvement.
In June this year, there was a minor problem with the headlights. The headlights on the right side could not be used. The check result was just a fuse problem and a false alarm failure. In early September, Heilang’s upgraded headlights broke down again, this time the fault is the left headlights, the problem is that the left headlights can not be adjusted by far light, only low lights, it can be said that it is an extremely embarrassing thing to happen again.
During a busy month in September, there was a problem with the left headlight, which was not dealt with until October.

Next, let’s listen to my maintenance experience one by one. The process is complicated, and the result is even more disturbing.

This is the upgraded black headlamp, and regardless of practical value, the appearance is satisfactory.

When driving a car one night last month, when the headlights were adjusted to near and far light, I found that there was obviously a blind area in the lighting, so I checked it immediately after I got home. The picture above is a comparison of near and far light. Did you find anything wrong?

As you can see in the image above, after turning on the far light, the light on the right has been adjusted to the state of high light, but the light on the left is still in the state of a low light. This is the problem point this time.

After there is something wrong with the headlight, I also check the relevant light fuse myself, and the result is that everything is normal. After consulting again, I sold the lamp to my shopkeeper, and the shopkeeper told me that he needed to go into the store to check before he knew the problem. Finally, I asked (above) the store who sold the transfer harness to my store and asked me to measure the power on line 8 of the harness.
The premise of measuring Line 8 requires the removal of the bumper, which is why I didn’t deal with the headlight until October.

In early October, on National Day, everyone else was driving around, but I came into the store with Heilang to check the headlights.

Needless to say, the reception process of entering the store was directly ignored. First of all, I found a sheet metal master and began to remove the bumper.

After a while, the bumper was disassembled.

The bumper has been removed, and then the mechanical and electrical master is required to take the stage to inspect the disassembly and assembly of the headlights.

The headlamp has been removed, the bright headlamp, but it is a pity that the chain is off and the high beam is not on, which is embarrassing.

The master measured the above picture and the line 8 of the original car, and everything was normal. For further inspection, remove the headlamp on the right and change the position to see if it was the problem with the wire harness or the headlamp itself.

After the position of the wire harness on both sides is adjusted with each other, the headlamp is simply installed to check the light adjustment, but the high beam on the left side is still off.

In the previous inspection, we can roughly judge that there is no problem with the wire harness. Now we need to detect whether there is a problem with the headlights. We found a street headlamp of the original car to check the light adjustment.

The headlight of the original car is split (the later modified hernia is the integration of near and far light), the familiar halogen headlamp.

An embarrassing thing happened, and the near and far light of the halogen showed normal, and it was finally determined that it was the fault of the headlight.

When checking the headlamp, I also consulted the reason for my problem, told me that there was something wrong with the headlamp flip motor, and installed the method provided by it to check the relevant position, and finally determined that there was a problem with the flip motor inside the headlamp.

According to the inspection information provided by the refitting store, remove the light bulb to check the interior of the lamp body.

The headlamp near-far light flip plate motor is located on the right side of the light bulb.

The method of installing the refitting shop checks the plug of the flip-plate motor, and then carries on the loading inspection, the result is still the original fault.

After a series of inspections and tests, the final result of this maintenance inspection is equal to zero, and the problem has not been solved.
Although it is purchased by this store, because my headlamp is modified in the later stage, it can not be replaced by warranty, so I can only admit it (when the headlamp was changed, the shopkeeper already told the headlamp that there were any quality problems and could not be guaranteed). So there is no need to bother the shopkeeper in this matter.
In addition, with this malfunction, this store cannot be repaired. The outside refitting shop is told that it can be repaired, but it needs to be cut open, and the light lines will change after it is cut, so you need to disassemble the left and right headlamps, think about it or forget it. I’ll make do with it for the time being, and we’ll talk about it later.

Inspection and testing for several hours, but also close to the shop off time, quickly asked the master to help restore Heilang to its original, as for the solution of this problem, we will find time to solve it later.

After the electromechanical master headlamp has been installed and reset, the sheet metal master is asked to install the bumper. 、

Although the result of the maintenance experience is not perfect, but the process is still very gratifying, although there is no guarantee, but the store to help with the inspection process is positive and enthusiastic, the inspection did not charge any fee. Give me a like.

This is the end of the maintenance inspection operation.
The end point of this lighting problem is the failure of the near-far light flip motor inside the headlamp, resulting in the headlamp can not be adjusted. To deal with this problem, the information I have received at present is the need to decompose the headlamp shell. With regard to the modification of this thing, we still have to pay attention to it. Things like me are really embarrassing, and in the end I have to bear it on my own.
