After more than 20000 kilometers, problems such as not being able to scrape clean and rain stains appeared after scraping back. Later, I went to the 4S shop and replaced them with a new pair. The effect was very good at first, but less than a year later, the previous problem appeared. Sometimes the sound of rubbing the front windshield was heard when scraping. When the windscreen wipers were scraping back, the originally clear glass mirror brought back the water stains. Especially on the long side of the main driver, it is even more obvious, which greatly affects the line of sight effect of driving. Moreover, if the windshield is not cleaned during heavy rain, it will affect driving safety, so wipers are no small matter and need careful care. However, it is not worth replacing a pair of original wiper wipers that cost more than 100 yuan in a few months. Moreover, the manual cost is tens of yuan. It can basically be determined that there is something wrong with the wiper equipped by the original factory. So, I looked for a solution online, and after measuring the specific wiper size, I decided to replace it myself.
This is the original boneless wiper blade of the Chase D90.
Generally, the windshield wipers are the main driver and the co-driver and the co-driver are short, and the same is true for our car.
The main driver’s wiper is 61 centimeters, which translates into 24 inches.
The co-driver’s wiper is a little more than 46 centimeters, which translates to 18 inches. So when buying a wiper blade, remember to buy a 24/18 blade. If the length is determined accurately, the width is not a problem.
