The breather pot has been installed and no subsequent use has been reported. It happened that there was nothing to do on the weekend, so I washed the car and cleaned the breather pot. Cut the crap and go straight to your homework.

The engine cabin of the old Magotan is too dirty, so I can clean it when washing the car. There is still a risk in washing the engine compartment. Water can only be flushed when the engine temperature drops. Then the fuse box, ECU, and generator cannot enter water. Although various plugs are waterproof, they cannot be directly flushed with high-pressure water guns, especially old cars.

After simple cleaning, at least it will be cleaner than before. Prepare tools and cleaning agent to remove the breather pot.

Breathable pot at the right intake manifold end. Silicone resistant oil pipes are used and fixed with stainless steel clips.

The breather pot at the end of the intake manifold poured out so much waste liquid, and the mileage was about 5,000 kilometers.

The color is darker than soy sauce, and it hangs well on the wall

Pour out the waste oil and clean it with carburetor cleaner.

Shake it and let it sit for a while

This is the exhaust pipe that has been filtered into the turbine and intercooling end through a breather pot. The inner wall is clean and oil-free.

The oil and gas are separated into the exhaust pipe of the breathable pot, and there is oil on the inner wall.

Wash and install

The operating mileage is about 5,000 kilometers, which is the capacity of two breather pots mixed with waste liquid and cleaning agent. That’s all I collected from 550ML mineral water bottles.

Looking at the oil dipstick, the liquid level is at the upper limit and has not dropped significantly, indicating that there is not much oil consumption.
