Unexpected gains from bottom support inspection, replace the brake cylinder oil pipe!

The community property inspection and heating pipeline had dug out the manhole cover, but there was no obvious sign. The right rear wheel had entered the pit. I quickly found a place to put on the shelf and looked at the chassis. There was no danger. The bottom supporting part was the rear axle part, just a small print. The marks were basically negligible, and the tires were not bulging. Looking at other parts, I found an unexpected reward: there was a crack in the seam of the muffler at the rear of the exhaust pipe. It was probably due to previous injuries and aging over time. Fortunately, there was no leak, but the mechanic suggested replacing it and saying that it might be rusted and slag inside. The most important thing was to find a hole worn out at the intersection of the left brake cylinder oil pipe and the rear axle longitudinal arm. I don’t know when it might have been worn out, and I was scared to break out in a cold sweat. Hurry up and replace it, and ask the master to wrap it with a layer of rubber tube for protection. This position is too awkward, and I can’t stand it usually. Why is it so severely worn? The master said that it might be worn out when encountering bumpy roads or when loaded, and there was no good solution for design problems. I would also like to remind car owners of the same model to pay attention to the left rear brake cylinder oil pipe to see if there is any interference and wear with the trailing arm. Safety hazards cannot be ignored!!! It was difficult to order the tail end of the exhaust pipe. Not to mention the cost of the original car, it was difficult to come by. I had to get a brand first. The store said that I had replaced a lot of them and had not come back for repair. I always felt awkward after getting on the car. The welding points of the lifting lugs were higher and lower, and the tail throat was also crooked. I couldn’t help but persuade me. The test sound was normal, and I couldn’t find anything wrong. I was embarrassed to say no more. After paying the money, I asked the master to remove the new one and install the rear part of the exhaust pipe of the original car. It was still pleasing to the eyes of the original car. Let’s use it first. I hope to encounter parts from the original car before leaking air.

The place where the tape is wrapped is not very clear from this angle.

I should have taken another photo from the bottom up, but after answering the phone, I saw that it had been removed.

Recent photos. When there was no brake fluid, it was quite clear, but now it is full of oil, and the contrast effect is not obvious. At that time, the original car owner may have considered the tape that would wear and tear around the bar, but the tape couldn’t hold it.

There is no good way to get on the car with new tubing. Wrap a layer of rubber pipe for protection. It will be stronger than tape.

The rear section of the exhaust pipe has been removed, and there is a bump on the belly.

The black pit is not very obvious, but there is a crack at the seam next to it. The master said that it cannot be welded, otherwise the inside will rot faster and there is no good way to deal with it.

I was looking forward to the arrival of the new tail, thinking that it would last for a few years if it was less than the original car.

When the new exhaust pipe gets on the car, it looks awkward. The exhaust port in the tail throat is crooked, and the rubber buffer lifting lug is also crooked. One side is pulled very long, and the other side is pushed back. There is obviously a problem with the solder joint.
