EA837 engine high temperature thermostat replacement

The original car thermostat cannot be opened. The design is defective. The middle thimble of the original car thermostat is thin.

The original car thermostat is the part number of 111AD

The new thermostat is a 111AL Improved thermostat Improved thermostat thimble is thick

Comparison between old and new exhaust valves. The tail number of the original exhaust valve is 547F. The new and improved one is 547AB.

The vent hole in the middle of the improved waste valve is thin

Replace the waste valve and install two one-way check valves

The original car has no check valve

One-way check valve get on board

The new scrapped valve is improved on the car (547AB)

Intake duct carbon deposit

There is too much carbon deposit on the valve. Clean it

Clean the carbon deposits on the intake port valves

Clean the air inlet backflow plate and get on the bus

Engine cleaning and installation completed

The thoughts of this maintenance are:
High temperature of the engine: 1. Check that there is less antifreeze (note that the lid of the antifreeze replenishment pot should not be opened when the car is hot to avoid burns) 2. There is no water leakage 3. Check whether the coolant water pump belt is broken or not
The original design of the thermostat is defective, and the thimble is thin and the strength is not enough, which makes it impossible to open.
