Camshaft solenoid valve oil leakage treatment

For the M271 engine, when the camshaft solenoid valve was inspected a few days ago, there were oil traces on the plug. When the plug was removed, a lot of oil flowed out from both the left and right sides. There is almost no oil leakage between the camshaft solenoid valve and the engine.
I asked Lao Yan and said that he could remove the solenoid valve to replace the sealing ring and apply glue. So Taobao placed an order for Toyota glue and contacted a local auto parts city merchant to buy the sealing ring. He didn’t need a car on the weekend, so he finished it tonight.
Tools: E8 socket, wrench, linear screwdriver, and a bottle of carburetor cleaner.

Remove the intake pipe and place some paper on the engine belt to prevent oil from dripping onto the belt

Remove the plug of the solenoid valve, use the E8 sleeve to remove the three screws each, and use a linear screwdriver to pry the solenoid valve off

This is the ugly look

Solenoid valve just removed, with sealing ring

The top is the original car, and the bottom is the newly purchased one. It doesn’t match it. What kind of horse has 10,000 horses run over…

The diameter of the original car is about 5 centimeters

I had to wipe the original car sealing ring clean, try to see if it was still elastic, and put it back on

This is the appearance of washing it with cleaning agent. I forgot to take pictures of the glue application. It is a thin layer of it is applied to the area other than the seal ring, and the corresponding area on the engine is also applied

Put it back in the same way, call it a day, let it sit for 12 hours, and see the effect
