The oil used in the front, middle and rear differential of lc120 is quite complicated. According to the information found at present, except for the rear axle differential of 4.0vx-n without lsd slip limit, the other 27 and 40 gx and vx are rear axle differential with lsd slip limit (this way is relatively old, the new lc150 rear axle is the same as the front axle, without lsd). The reason is that the top vx-n has a body stability control system similar to that of Dr. esp, which uses abs brakes to control skid limits.
The following is practical information, lc120 is all non-top matching, rear axle belt lsd:
Front differential: the manual requires SAE90,1.4L;4s to use 85w-90 ordinary version of mineral oil; if there is silver, use the silver iron bucket produced by 4s17 to synthesize gl-5,75w-90100 yuan per liter (there is also a kind of red and black iron can gl-4,75w-90,60 yuan is for Carola and other manual gearbox, it is gl-4, can not be used, do not add wrong), or Mobil full synthetic gl-5,75w-90,80 yuan per liter.
Medium differential box: the instruction manual requires 75w Mushroom 90 1.4LTX 4s to use 85w-90 ordinary version mineral oil, silver to use 4s red and black iron cans gl-5,75w single stage, Taobao about 200RMB per liter, it is said that the wear to metal is the least. Rear differential: the manual requires 80w-90lsd limited slide version, 3.1L lsd 4s use 85w-90lsd mineral oil (note that lsd limited slide edition, that is, there are two kinds of 85w-90, one with lsd, one without lsd, be sure to pay attention); some riders recommend Mobil full synthesis gl-5,75w-90 can also be, but some reactions will still slip, it is not recommended here, just to be on the safe side, 4s mineral lsd.
