In the twinkling of an eye, lifting the car for four years, Huzi has experienced ups and downs, should also be more kind to it. Recently, even if the weather is getting warmer, I can’t get back to work, so I just give Huzi a routine maintenance and replace the engine filter by myself.

After driving 45000 kilometers for 4 years, I installed some lighting. I beg your pardon for my personal preference.

Park the car on the flat ground and open the lid. The engine compartment is a little dirty. Let’s clean it when we have time.

Prepare accessories and tools: original oil, original oil filter element, a 5-liter empty bean oil kettle, a self-made oil pump. M27 sleeve, extension rod, ratchet wrench, one bottle of universal cleaning agent.

Engine oil and machine filter are all original factory accessories, others are screwing oil pan screws to release oil, this time I use self-made oil pump to pump oil. Everybody guess whether it is put clean or smoked clean?

When changing the new oil, the oil filter element must also be replaced with the new one.
M27 sleeve, extension rod, wheel wrench, which is essential for unscrewing the oil filter lid.

The tool is assembled and ready to remove the oil filter cover (this engine is a paper oil filter)

Use the tool to rotate the lid counterclockwise and loosen it, which is conducive to the discharge of air, and the air balance in the crankcase will be more thorough. Replace the filter element later.

Unplug the oil dipstick and insert the pumping pipe into the crankcase. Be sure to insert it to the end.

Connect all the pipes of the pumping unit and be ready.

Turn on the pump switch and the oil gushes up.

It will be completed in about 10 minutes.

The old oil extracted is about 4.5 liters.

Take out the old oil filter element

Clean the inside of the lid with detergent.

Clean the lid.

The filter holes in the engine fuselage should be wiped clean with non-chipping towels or paper towels.

Put the new oil filter element on the lid and make sure it is stuck in place.

Install the return oil filter element and lid and tighten it by hand first.

Finally, to tighten the wrench, the standard value 25nm, we have no torque wrench can only rely on the feeling .

Add engine oil, students with good skills can not use towels

Add oil, there’s nothing to say, just pour it out.
This 4G16 engine needs about 4. 3-4. 5 liters of oil.

When the filling is completed, you must look at the dipstick scale.

Many riders do not know how to look at the oil ruler, in fact, the method is very simple, after filling the oil, idle for one minute and then turn off the engine, pull out the oil ruler, the oil level is more than half of the upper and lower limit of the oil ruler is the best, that is, the upper middle position.

Do not add more than the upper limit, so that the crankcase pressure is easy to be excessive, the oil cost of crankshaft oil seal or spark plug is easy to leak, and the load of the engine itself will increase. Also do not add to the lower limit, because the engine oil also has normal wear and tear, the liquid level is too low oil lamp will also affect heat dissipation, air extraction and so on. Therefore, the oil dipstick is the best, do not believe in your own products, this maintenance is completed.
