There are several advantages to cleaning the engine compartment. One is that you can find out whether there are foreign objects in the engine compartment during cleaning. Also, cleaning the engine compartment will protect some rubber parts inside. Also, if you want to sell used cars in the future, seeing that the engine compartment is very clean will have a good value preservation effect on the vehicle. This is the first time I have cleaned the engine compartment since I bought a car. Before, they had finished maintenance in a 4s shop. They used an air gun to blow it and spray it with water to clean it in this way. But they are also cleaned surfaces. This time I want to do a comprehensive cleaning of the engine compartment.

First, I took out the hair dryer and blew all the dust on the upper surface of the engine with the hair dryer.
After blowing it all, you can take a dry towel to wipe it off. Wipe all corners that you can touch.
Then he took out the small toothbrush and washed all the corners that were out of reach of the rag.

The following one is a glass kettle that needs to be brushed with a brush. After brushing, it looks much cleaner.
Then there is antifreeze. This corner also needs to be brushed with a brush. After brushing, use a large towel to wipe the water pipes.
Clean the battery, too
There are also brake pots and brake oil pumps with a toothbrush.
I also encountered many problems during the wiping process. After all, some small corners below are not easy to wipe and reach. Then, because the weather in the north is still relatively cold, some plastic parts below are relatively hard, so be careful not to damage the plastic parts during the wiping process. In addition, some of the power cables below are not particularly thick, because sometimes you have to pay attention to the situation if you are not good. In the end, I basically wiped everything I could get it. After wiping it all, the engine looked much cleaner. Cleaning of the engine compartment is complete.
