Air-conditioning pumps and generators are placed on the left and right sides of the engine, this design can no longer be seen, air-conditioning pumps are basically hidden at the bottom. The white board on the side of the air-conditioning pump is the bracket of the air-conditioning pump, yes, it is that big. To describe it in a word, basically everything in that era was stupid.
The consistent style of American models is that the winding of the driving belt must be marked on the frame of the water tank. This tradition has not been changed, and you can refer to the recent generation of Buick GL8 for details. The engine displacement is also marked at the intake port of the intake manifold.
American style is shown everywhere, and the front bumper is very stout. I feel harder than some modified bumpers now, and maybe I didn’t think about the safety of pedestrians at all in those days.

The throttle design is very special, maybe I have very little contact with the models of that era, which makes me very uncomfortable.
The timing chain of the valve system uses an engine with a central camshaft. The timing chain can be very short, and what’s even weirder is that I haven’t seen any tightening system at all.
The engine of the valve cover and intake port that was removed did not use a double valve at that time. So this engine has a single valve, and the intake basically limits the power. So the maximum power of this engine is only 280 horsepower and the torque is only 330 Nm.
