GLK300 eight years 60,000 kilometers of the whole process of changing gearbox oil
The 2011 GLK300 imported in 2012 has been driving for more than 60,000 kilometers for 8 years. It is the first time that the transmission oil + torque converter oil is replaced during the entire process.
Materials required:
1. Transmission filter, transmission oil pan sealing washer
2. transmission oil
3. Reliable repair shop
The materials I chose:
1. MAHLE HX134D Transmission Filter and Seal Ring Set (200 RMB)
2. Fox F7134 fully synthetic blue oil (79*9=711 yuan)
3. Mercedes-Benz specializes in repair, working hours cost 300 yuan
Replacement steps:
1. Remove each guard plate, open the oil pan screws and start draining oil
2. Remove the oil pan and clean the oil pan and the two small magnets inside
3. Replace the transmission oil filter element, install a new oil pan sealing ring (be careful not to glue), and install the oil pan back
4. Turn the crankshaft to adjust the position of the torque converter so that the oil drain screws are exposed
5. Drain oil from the torque converter (it takes several minutes)
6. Replace the torque converter drain screws
7. Start filling new oil from the oil pan drain port
8. Start the vehicle when injecting it to about 6L-7L. If possible, switch gears back and forth with one person in the vehicle. If it is inconvenient, it doesn’t matter if you don’t switch.
9. Stop adding new oil when injecting about 8.5L, and tighten the oil drain screws in the oil pan
10. Install each guard plate, it’s OK!
