The Changan Lantuo pickup truck’s large size inverted trapezoidal air intake grille is combined with the chrome-plated dot matrix medium mesh shape to create a majestic visual effect, and hanging the Changan V label gives more brand awareness. The entire series uses sky-level LED headlights and ground-level penetrating LED daytime lights.

The body size of Changan Lantuo pickup truck is 5350/5600×1930/1980/2006×1865/1875mm, the cargo box size is 1600/1850×1595×500mm, and the wheelbase is 3180/3430 mm. It has two models: standard cargo box and long cargo box. The bottom suspension adopts a combination of double wishbone independent front suspension + five-link independent rear suspension.

Modification of variant cars and installation of leather cargo boxes

The pickup truck has a rated mass of up to 800kg and has 2.5 tons of towing equipment. In the future, the car will also be launched into an off-road vehicle model, adopting a more exaggerated exterior decoration package, adding the word “PROEDITION” to the front net, adding a winch to the front bumper, installing a wading hose on the left A-pillar, and adding a trailer rail square port and trailer electrical interface. With the interior layout, the Long-Range pickup truck will have a luxurious technical cockpit and a leading leapfrog intelligent system, which will be equipped with leading technologies such as APA self-parking, full-speed adaptive navigation, and full voice control.

Changlantuo’s “first Blue Whale pickup truck” is equipped with the Blue Whale Generation 2.0T power card version. The engine adopts a vertical layout. Based on the diverse needs and operating scenarios of skin users, combined with the characteristics of card products and operating conditions, it is deeply adaptable. The maximum power is 171kW, and the peak torque of 390N·m can be reached at 1900 rpm. Therefore, with the support of the “agile combustion system”, the fuel consumption of Chang ‘an Lantuo Zui leather is reduced by about 7%-11.5% compared with competing products, making it possible to run and save money.
