In 1926, the German military asked Mercedes-Benz to produce a model with good passability for the military to use. Then the classic Mercedes-Benz G1 was born, which was also the original origin of the name of the Big G. However, no one would I have thought that this car would become a symbol of the identity and wealth of car owners in peacetime in the future.

This issue brings to you the top ten and last four ceramic brake cases of the online celebrity Xiaogang senior G63 upgrade. In terms of power, it is equipped with a 4.0TV8 turbocharged engine with a maximum horsepower of 585 hp and a maximum power of 430kW. The peak torque is 850N·m, and it only takes 4.5 seconds to complete zero-hundred acceleration. The performance is explosive. The strong power and the curb quality of up to 2.6 tons also mean that the brake system must be excellent. The original G63AMG factory has a piston brake system. But this does not prevent car owners from upgrading and equipping them with top-notch brake products.

Ceramic brake discs have many advantages. For example, ordinary brake discs are prone to heat recession due to high heat under full braking. Ceramic brake discs can effectively and stably resist heat recession, and their heat resistance effect is many times higher than ordinary brake discs. Therefore, a set of ceramic brakes is crucial for high-performance cars.

STOPFLEX ceramic discs are lighter than ordinary metal brake discs. They are at least 40% lighter than metal brake discs of the same size. Such a large reduction in unsprung mass has a positive impact on all aspects of vehicle dynamics, including acceleration, braking and handling, fuel economy, flexibility, shock absorber response and vehicle comfort can also be improved by reducing unsprung mass.

The reason why STOPFLEX ceramic discs are made of special composite materials is that the ceramic matrix is very hard, has low porosity, is very wear-resistant, will not rust or corrode due to oxidation, and will not be distorted and deformed at high temperatures. The disc size is stable, and brake pad wear caused by deformation is unlikely. It has high wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and torsional deformation resistance.

STOPFLEX ceramic discs also have low NVH. We sometimes hear some car owners complain about the screeching sound of brakes, but carbon ceramic brake kits often have lower NVH (noise, vibration and earliness) problems than similar products with metal discs.

Most Mercedes-Benz car owners choose STOPFLEX ceramic brakes, not only because of the pursuit of high performance and lightweight, but also because they are loyal to Mercedes-Benz’s own attributes.
